BDOFind is designed as a simple static utility. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use the site.
Information we collect
BDOFind does not require an account, login, character name, email address, or payment information to use the search tool.
The site may collect basic usage events, such as searches, category selections, sort changes, load-more actions, and item-card clicks. These events help understand which parts of the tool are useful and what needs improvement.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider or web server may keep standard technical logs. These can include IP address, browser type, requested page, referrer, and time of request. These logs are used for security, debugging, and basic operation.
Cookies and local storage
BDOFind currently does not require cookies for core search functionality. The site may use normal browser caching to make files load faster.
If ads, analytics, or support/donation tools are added in the future, this policy should be updated before those services go live.
Third-party services
BDOFind currently loads Google Fonts for typography and links to BDO Codex item pages from item detail modals. Opening an external link may allow that third-party site to receive information according to its own privacy policy.
Advertising
BDOFind is not currently running third-party ad-network scripts. If advertising or sponsor placements are added later, this privacy policy should be updated to explain the provider and any data they collect.
